This expression starts out as a classic Woodford reserve, but after its initial aging, it is moved into new barrels that have been heavily toasted and given a light char, where the spirit undergoes a further maturation process.
Batch Proof takes Woodford Reserve’s trademark flavor range of sweet vanilla and toasted oak to a whole new level offering the privilege of tasting Woodford Reserve in its purest form (and not the standard 90.4 for which Woodford is known).

A complex medley of rich tea leaf, oak, and dried leather notes are underpinned by delicate hints of peppermint and fresh cedar.
TASTE
Dry tea notes are balanced by slightly sweeter dark caramel and cocoa notes. Traces of peppermint brighten a potpourri of dried berries.
FINISH
A long subtle dryness is highlighted by a lingering dark chocolate espresso fade.
