The Arran Smuggler Series Exciseman Vol. 3 Single Malt Scotch
The Smuggle Series from Isle of Arran distillery has generated a cult following over the past few years, and this is the third bottling to be released in the series. Packaged in a box made to look like a hollowed-out box, even the labeling makes an homage to the long tradition of Scotch producers trying to outwit the excisemen. Aged in Madeira casks and bourbon quarter casks, this is classic example of the Arran style with an additional sweetness and complexity from the Madeira influence.
