Sagamore Spirit Rye Whiskey
A passion project from Kevin Plank, the founder of Under Armour, this rye whiskey is named after his Sagamore farm in Reisterstown, Maryland where he breeds racehorses (‘coz that’s what you do when you are a billionaire).
Two different straight rye whiskies – a high rye and a low rye – were blended with limestone spring water from Sagamore farm to create an 83 proof whiskey which has a surprisingly smooth mouth-feel and notes of caramel, molasses and pepper that finish with a traditional rye spiciness.
