Rough Rider ‘Bull Moose’ Three Barrel Rye Whisky
Named for the First United States Volunteer Cavalry, Rough Rider Three Barrel Rye is aged in three different barrels. It starts out in new American oak barrels before being moved to ex-bourbon casks. It is then finished in ex-single malt whiskey casks. The triple barrel process creates a complex spirit with notes of cinnamon and sweet vanilla. Winner of the Chairman’s Award in the 2018 Ultimate Spirits Competition, this whiskey is a rich rye with a great great character.
