RedBreast Irish Whiskey Sherry Finish Lustau Edition
This whisky is matured for 9-12 years in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, with the final year finished in first-fill Spanish Oak Oloroso casks, hand-selected from Bodegas Lustau. The Master Blender at Midleton Distillery (where Redbreast is distilled), Billy Leighton, stated “It’s putting the spotlight on the Lustau, but it’s putting the floodlight on the sherry business in general. I think it’s kind of us giving credit or appreciation to the people in the sherry business for doing what they do for us…”
