Brinley Gold Shipwreck Coconut Rum Cream
Brimstone Hill’s cannons protected the beautiful island of St. Kitts and her valuable sugar cane for hundreds of years. Many a ship met her demise off of this Caribbean coastline, including a British troopship that sank during the Battle of Frigate Bay in 1782. The remains of this wreck have recently been found and Brinley Gold has dedicated their “Shipwreck” line of Rum to this discovery.
Brinley Gold “Shipwreck” Coconut Rum Cream Liqueur is created from Caribbean rum, natural coconuts and real cream from a farmer owned dairy collective. This is the Brinley family’s take on the classic coquito. The nose opens with bold coconut notes with a hint of baking spice undertone. The palate offers a rich, creamy mouthfeel with notes of fresh and toasted coconut, followed by subtle notes of nutmeg and cardamom leading up to the slightly sweet finish.
