AKAL Chai Rum
The First Limited Reserve Botanical rum made in the Caribbean This rum won an award from the Government of Trinidad & Tobago for innovation . It is recognized as the first new production process in rum in almost a century and is only the second recognized Trade secret process in Trinidad since Don Carlos Seigert’s Angostura Bitters in the 1800’s. Two types of high altitude tea and over 15 tropical aromatic flowers are used to make the only “Chai rum” in the World. Rated at a rare 95 points by WSWA it won the Taste of St Croix for best cocktail. Partnered with Northrop and Johnson Yachts it is “The Official Rum Of Superyachts” and served at some of the finest Five star properties .
