The oldest whiskey from the oldest distillery in the world today, is obviously in scarce supply with only a limited number of casks released. Pure un-malted barley, triple distilled, and matured in bourbon and sherry barrels for 19 years‚ is married together for an additional two years in a madeira-infused cask to produce this 96 point rated single malt Irish whiskey. The result is dark chocolate and caramelized toffee aromas and a sip that clings to the palate before releasing a magical burst like mint.
