Black Dirt Bourbon Whiskey
The latest venture of Warwick Valley Winery & Distillery, Black Dirt Bourbon takes its name from the dark, fertile soil left by an ancient glacial lake that once covered thousands of acres of upstate New York. Although perfectly suited for growing crops such as corn, this land has never been used for bourbon production until now. Both the nose and palate offer pronounced notes of caramel, toffee and vanilla, which merge with hints of oak and baking spice on the lingering finish.
